i'm not sure the writers of this show have ever interacted with actual kids. the dialogue for the children in this show is so bizarre. maybe part of that is the delivery too, but every time candy's kid talks it's just weird. (is it 'wrong' to call her candy still instead of eileen, since she's a respected director now instead of a prostitute?)
